CAUTION - if boating around the island do not boat between north shore of the island and the mainland as the water level varies and there are some rocks near the surface. If not landing by the dock there is a sandy lake bed area on the north shore but the approach can be hazardous for those not familiar with the location. BOAT LAUNCH - there is a public boat launch next to Sandhurst Resort. Its about 1.2 km from the boat launch to Blueberry Island - head west.
